Collective Folie is a collective masterwork, from the artist Tadashi Kawamata. From 17th April to 27th August 2013 at Parc de la Villette in Paris.
I had the good luck to participate at Collective Folie workshop. I stumbled upon Tadashi's work few years ago, and I really loved his work and approach! It was so great to visit the tower, to discover previous participants surprises in the installation (like a swing, a clock or a piano) with Tadashi's team explanations. Then, we were invited to create some structure as part of a team. We decided to work on a structure wich will stay on the ground. Our equipment: gloves, hard hat and security shoes. Our tools: recovered wood, screws and screw gun. It was a great experience to be involved in such a beautiful project! At the end of the schedule, the tower will be taken down. Therefore, do not hesitate to enrol. Many thanks to Tadashi & his team for their kindness.
